El passat 5 de febrer la nostra secció sindical va aconseguir arribar a un acord amb Eurest per a que pagui tot el que deu a les treballadores del Menjador Social de Navas.
El 13 de gener la nostra secció sindical es reunia amb l’empresa per sol·licitar que fes efectiu el pagament de les quantitats adeutades per diferents motius a diverses treballadores, així com la contractació indefinida d’una companya. Aquesta mateixa companya va estar contractada i cobrant per menys hores de les realment treballades durant diversos mesos. Tot i tenir ple coneixement d’això, l’empresa es negava a pagar la diferència durant part del període de contractació irregular. A més d’això, la secció reivindicava el pagament d’hores complementàries acumulades des de l’octubre i les quantitats del plus de manutenció adeutades des de 2012.
El pagament del plus de manutenció és una reivindicació que ha acompanyat a aquesta secció sindical des de la seva constitució fa any i mig. L’empresa va deixar d’abonar-a l’octubre de 2012 i no va tornar a fer-ho fins a maig de 2015 gràcies a l’amenaça de C.N.T. d’obrir conflicte sindical. En aquell temps la secció va acordar portar aquest tema per inspecció de treball a canvi del reconeixement de les categories de les companyes educadores. Com sabíem de sobres, la inspecció de treball ens ha acabat donant la raó i va fer requeriment a l’empresa a finals de desembre de 2015 perquè pagués tot el que deu des de 2012.
Després de tot el plantejat el dia 13 de gener, la resposta d’Eurest va ser simplement pagar les hores complementàries i començar a pagar al febrer el plus de manutenció demanat a l’estiu de 2015 per dos companyes. Res deien de les hores degudes durant mesos a una de nosaltres i negaven haver rebut requeriment d’Inspecció de Treball de pagar el que deu per la manutenció, amb la qual cosa no pensaven fer-ho.
Aquesta resposta ens va semblar una absoluta presa de pèl i un insult a la nostra dignitat com a treballadores. Per això, després reunir-nos en assemblea, el 4 de febrer vam decidir llançar un ultimàtum a Eurest: si les nostres justes reivindicacions no eren acceptades, el dia 6 iniciaríem una campanya de lluita per assolir-les per la via de l’acció directa. Afortunadament, el dia 5 Eurest va acabar accedint a fer efectiu el pagament de totes les quantitats degudes i es va comprometre a contractar a la companya per a la qual demanàvem el contracte indefinit quan la companya a la qual està substituint abandoni l’empresa (la qual cosa succeirà en uns mesos ja que té 64 anys).
Estem satisfetes amb que finalment s’hagin resolt els impagaments que, d’altra banda, mai s’haurien d’haver donat si l’empresa respectés la legalitat. Tanmateix, ens sembla lamentable que una multinacional que factura milions a l’any garrepegi amb el que les seves treballadores guanyen honradament dia a dia amb el seu esforç.
Un cop més ha quedat clar que fins que les treballadores no ens decidim a lluitar pel que és nostre els patrons es fan els tontos o es riuen a la nostra cara. La C.N.T. ha tornat a posar les coses al seu lloc mitjançant la via que li és més natural i efectiva a la classe treballadora: l’acció directa.
